Mario Ceballos

Mario Ceballos brings a wide range of experience in the areas of human resources management, organizational development, community relations/outreach, and social marketing. His experience working for both large and small public sector and non-profit organizations, along with his long history of community service, has provided him with knowledge and insights into developing creative strategies for positive and effective community impact.

Mr. Ceballos' experience includes over 15 years of human resources management and labor relations experience with the Los Angeles Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) where he was the Project Manager responsible for the Authority’s countywide recruitment activities related to the agency’s Bus Consent Decree, Welfare-to-Work Initiative, as well as served as the Human Resources Department representative for the start-up activities of the Red Line (Segment I), Blue, and Green Lines.

Mr. Ceballos clients and team projects involve both government and community-based organizations such as: Los Angeles County Office of AIDS Programs and Policy; Californians Together; California Association for Bilingual Education (CABE); Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA); City of Long Beach; among others.

Mr. Ceballos is a current Commissioner of the Los Angeles County Commission on Human Relations. He served on the board of the AIDS Healthcare Foundation and KCET (Public Television) community advisory board.

Mr. Ceballos has a BA degree in Social Psychology from Occidental College, Los Angeles.
