California’s Largest Latino LGBT PAC Announces
Endorsements for November 6 Election
HONOR PAC Announces Endorsement of Latina/o LGBT Candidates and Allies
Los Angeles, CA – Today, the HONOR PAC Board of Directors released its endorsements for
the November 6, 2012 federal election cycle. HONOR PAC supports candidates who have a
demonstrated commitment to supporting legislation and issues that uniquely impact Latinos and
the LGBT community.
“We had the highest number of candidates submit questionnaires for consideration this since
our founding in 2005,” said Alfred Fraijo, Jr., President of HONOR PAC. “After a thorough
selection process, we are excited to announce our endorsement of those candidates who have
demonstrated leadership in supporting Latino and LGBT issues throughout California.”
The Board of Directors instituted a holistic candidate review process to select its slate of
endorsements based on the PAC’s stated mission and priorities. Candidates seeking HONOR
PAC’s endorsement completed a questionnaire detailing their positions and leadership on issues
of importance to the Latino and LGBT community including equal rights, education, health care,
immigration, and marriage equality. The Board then conducted a formal vote for endorsement
and made a financial contribution to each candidate.
