Be on the look out for new additional dates for endorsement applications 2024.
HONOR PAC endorses viable candidates running for local, state, and federal offices who support issues of importance to the Latinx LGBTQ+ Community.
These individuals are committed to advancing our mission in their capacity as elected officials. HONOR PAC proudly supports our slate of candidates for the upcoming midterm election on Tuesday, November 6, 2018.
Friends,
Since the election of Donald Trump, the LGBTQ community has been patronized and discriminated to the utmost degree. His actions have gone against the ideals of our country's Founders by opposing our most basic rights to love, liberty, and pursuit of happiness as Americans and contributors. With the appointment of Brett Kavanaugh, our LGBT rights are hanging in the balance.
On Monday, April 22, 2019, the Supreme Court said that it will decide whether existing civil rights laws ban discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation and gender identity, a question that has divided the nation's lower courts.
We hope that when our Nation’s highest court returns back into session in October, they uphold in their decision, already set laws in regards to anti-discrimination in the workplace on the basis of sex.
We must continue to use our collective voice and pressure our representatives to stand up for what is right - regardless of party.
We must continue to be resilient and show our strength at the ballot box in 2020.
We must bring others to be counted by participating in the 2020 US Census, to register to vote, and exercise the privilege to vote.
We must continue to resist and fight hate - even when it comes from the highest office in our country.
Each one of these actions create the momentum to an inclusive, participatory society. They create America.
Please join HONOR PAC in advancing our rights and fight for the dignity of all living in and making this country and this world even greater.
Con honor,
Mario Ceballos

President's Message
Empowering our Latinx LGBTQ+ community has been HONOR PAC’s way of life for the last 15 years. Through our commitment for full equality and opportunity, we have not only continued to realize our mission but advanced our nation’s vision of a more perfect union.
HONOR PAC began in 2004 by a small group of Latinx LGBTQ+ men and women who believed in self-determination and action, in hope and bridge-building, in contributing not diminishing, so that our Latinx LGBTQ+ community lifted others as it lifted itself.
Our beginnings were not easy in any way, but we were determined to take charge of our own future and not count on others to do it nor determine it for us. Fifteen years later, these beliefs still hold true.
HONOR PAC has stood steadfast in its resilience putting Purpose over partisanship and Mission over politics.
As a mission-driven, nonpartisan and 100% volunteer PAC, we have made sure that the winds of time or favor did not derail us from our core mission and vision for full equality, participation and opportunity for the entire Latinx LGBTQ+ community and all our neighbors -- no matter who they are.
HONOR PAC now leads and champions Latinx LGBTQ+ candidates and elected officials who ably lift up all individuals and families across our country. HONOR PAC is nationally trusted and respected for its unwavering commitment to Latinx LGBTQ individuals and those who stand behind HONOR PAC’s inclusive mission.
We have a track record of supporting Latinx LGBTQ+ elected officials who lead at all levels of government to make America work for all. Our HONOR PAC endorsed candidates, elected officials, and supporters are leaders not just in the political sphere but in the private and public sectors as well.
Since its founding, HONOR PAC fearlessly protects and champions the important contributions that every day Latinx LGBTQ+ individuals and their families make in their neighborhoods and communities -- seeking the same hope, opportunity and just work hard toward a fulfilling, joyous, and productive life for themselves and their families. Just like everyone else.
Since 2004, we have raised close to a quarter million dollars and endorsed a record of 240+ candidates, of which 90% of them are Latinx, 74% LGBTQ+, and close to 40% are Women. We’ve helped elect Latinx LGBTQ+ individuals as school district board members, as judges and sheriffs, as college and utilities commissioners, as city council members and mayors, as state representatives, as U.S. congress members and senators, as U.S. presidents. In California, we proudly, helped elect HONOR PAC’s founding member Ricardo Lara, as the State’s first Latinx LGBTQ Constitutional Officer!
We have supported allies of all races, genders, faiths, and countries of origin. HONOR PAC has stood behind talented individuals currently shunned and stigmatized by narrow-minded unpatriotic people and politicians --including those in the highest seats of our government.
In looking to the future, HONOR PAC has launched an inclusive, committed group of young leaders, who support the HONOR PAC Board of Directors to uphold and advance its mission into the future - HONOR PAC NextGen! These young Latinx LGBTQ+ men and women stand proudly and are committed to ensuring an America that embraces differences, cares for one another and “the other” and is always building up and across -- this is our Next Generation of leaders!
As we reflect on the 50th Anniversary of the Stonewall Riots, we must continue to protect our country and its constitution from both domestic and foreign evil, from the hatefulness and divisiveness that at the moment rule the day -- but only for now. We must remain strong, resolute and unified in our quest for freedom, equality and justice.
With future elections within our grasp, let us stay focused and more determined than ever through engagement and participation in the civic and political process to be counted and to strengthen our influence and democracy. Most of all, to realize the vision of this great country and always, regardless of the storm, with courage and determination, to aim for that Perfect Union our founding fathers envisioned for our country.
Let’s give hope to that young lesbian woman in Mississippi, who was denied her rightful abortion and control of her body. Let’s give shelter to the immigrant in California’s Central Valley working hard to feed all of us. Let’s give optimism to all transgender Latinx teens in Arizona whose parents don’t understand them and feel alone. Let’s give courage to that LGBTQ+ senior in Ohio to finally come out to his family. Let us give courage to that young non-conforming, non-binary person to run for public office because his/her/their voice matters and he/she/they can lift us all up!
We cannot do this alone. Join HONOR PAC and contribute to our efforts!
Be part of HONOR PAC’s future and together, let’s ensure that our United States is a place for all to contribute and make our nation a stronger and an unequivocal beacon of light, hope and happiness for All.

Mario Ceballos
