This past year, HONOR PAC had the highest number of applications for endorsement ever: 172.  We endorsed in more than 100 races, including statewide, legislative, and local competitions - and in many races, we helped make history.

This morning, June 18, 2020, the Supreme Court of the United States rejected Donald Trump's effort to end the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA)! This is a major milestone in helping our immigrant communities continue to live the true American Dream. This morning, as we celebrate Pride Month, the Supreme Court of the United States finally ruled that sexual orientation & gender identity are protected under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act! This is a major milestone in helping the LGBTQ+ community reach full equality in the United States of America. HONOR PAC Statement on Trump's rollback of LGBTQ+ health care protections
June 12, 2020

On the 4th anniversary of the Pulse Nightclub shooting, in the middle of Pride Month, and in the midst of a global pandemic, the Trump Administration "formally rolled back an Obama-era policy that protected LGBTQ patients from discrimination and required robust language translation services".

According to Politico, this reversal in health policy will allow health care providers to discriminate against transgender patients and women seeking abortions. "The Obama administration had issued the first-time protections for LGBTQ patients under a nondiscrimination clause in the Affordable Care Act, citing concerns from advocates these patients had a harder time accessing necessary care”...Read More
